Program Overview
Throughout the entire period of study in the program 'Architecture of Buildings and Structures,' master's students perform analytical, applied, and project work on their chosen research topic. The focus of scientific work may be related to: the formation of new types of buildings; the development of existing typology; social problems of society; addressing issues of sustainable architecture; development of nature-integrated architecture, etc. All specialized disciplines and a number of basic ones, as well as internships during the education process, specify issues related to the specifics of research, followed by detailed development and implementation in the textual and expositional part of the final qualification work. Students present the results of their scientific research in articles and reports at scientific and practical conferences, architectural competitions, and real design projects. The culmination of the education is the State Final Certification - the final qualification work.

The professional field in which graduates who have completed the master's program work: architecture, design, geodesy, topography, and design (in the fields of: architectural design; research work in the field of architecture; concepts of creative activity; expert activity; architectural criticism; social communications). In addition, graduates can continue their education in postgraduate studies. Possible places of employment for graduates: design organizations engaged in the design of residential, public, industrial, agricultural buildings, landscape and environmental design, including: design departments of development companies, production and construction complexes; architectural design bureaus, personal creative workshops, research and design institutes; administrative and management structures: architecture departments of district administrations; department of architecture and urban planning of city administrations; unitary design enterprises and departments under the ministry of construction of the region, ministry of culture of the region, etc.; scientific and research organizations in the field of architectural design; educational institutions providing architectural and artistic training: schools and lyceums with an architectural and artistic focus; architectural and construction colleges; universities.
