Program Overview
Training of highly qualified specialists, research scientists and practitioners who will be able to work in healthcare institutions, research institutes, engage in private practice, etc. The relevance of clinical psychologists is beyond doubt due to the statistics of the spread of anxiety-depressive disorders, somatic and mental diseases, suicidal tendencies in modern society. At the same time, there are not enough specialists in Russia and the world who provide psychological support to different groups of patients, their relatives, as well as medical personnel at different stages of the treatment process.

Graduates can continue their postgraduate studies, doing research in the field of clinical psychology and psychophysiology. Neuroscientists (including psychophysiologists) Leading universities in Russia and abroad are actively invited as postdocs, their research activities are significantly supported by funding from the Russian Science Foundation. Another promising way to develop and realize the professional potential of graduates of the program is their implementation of the practical activities of a clinical psychologist (psychohygiena, psychoprophylaxis, diagnosis, examination, correction, rehabilitation, non-drug psychotherapy) in public and private institutions.
