Program Overview

The educational program is aimed at mastering the basic approaches to the development of chemical reactions and processes, taking into account the requirements of chemistry in the interests of sustainable development, familiarization with modern scientific principles, experimental laboratory and technological approaches to chemical processes that reduce or eliminate negative effects on the environment.

Students of the program can choose from two professional tracks.
  • A research track with internships in leading research laboratories of the Russian Federation
  • A design and production track with practical training in modern chemical production facilities of partner enterprises.
The possibility of building an individual educational trajectory in accordance with the personal interests of students in solving specific professional tasks.
The classes are taught by experienced teachers and researchers together with experts in the field of production.
The training is carried out in a mixed format, which makes it possible for most undergraduates to combine work and study.

This program is for graduates of bachelor's degrees in natural sciences who are interested in sustainable development, chemical processes and their applications in research laboratories and industry, as well as materials science. The main objective of master's education is to provide specialized advanced knowledge to those who already have practical experience in chemistry.
Graduates of the master's program will become the next generation of scientists who make decisions about the further development of chemical science and the industry. They will be able to continue their careers in consulting or join startups where deep knowledge of chemistry is needed for sustainable development.

They can choose between a research track, which includes internships at leading research laboratories in the Russian Federation, and a design and production track, which offers internships at modern chemical industries partnering with SFedU. Classes are led by experienced professors and researchers from SFedU, as well as experts in the relevant fields.
