Program Overview

The Master's degree program is aimed at training specialists with in-depth knowledge in the field of sociology, demography and family policy, as well as skills in analytical thinking and practical application of theoretical approaches. Within the framework of the program, students study key theoretical and methodological aspects of socio-demographic modeling, which allows them to master modern tools for analyzing demographic processes and social phenomena, independently plan, organize and conduct scientific and applied research in the field of family and marriage sociology, demography, carry out sociological support and implementation of regional social family policy, conduct social diagnostics. and the expertise of support and assistance programs in the field of family policy. During their studies, undergraduates will have the opportunity to participate in research projects and events implemented at the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies and its academic partners, consult with leading experts in the field of demography and family sociology, and gain teaching experience during their internship.
