Program Overview

Geologists take the best from other sciences and apply it to the study of Earth. They investigate Earth materials, the properties and structures of those materials, Earth processes and evolution, the history of our planet, and natural hazards and related phenomena. Geological and earth sciences/geosciences largely focus on the physical aspects of the Earth: such as its composition and structure, as a fully integrated system. Geology majors can use their skills to conduct research in the field, coordinate work around natural resources or make maps and charts for use in public and private industry. Training of future specialists who wish to be omniscient in the studies Geology and be highly demanded specialists in the geological sphere.
