Specialization is based on Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and other key areas of Biology and Embryology. Biotechnology is also based on some applied disciplines such as robotics, electronics and instrumentation. Main purpose of biotechnology bachelors - solving the problems of Medicine, Genetics, Pharmaceuticals, Agriculture, Industry, Industrial Ecology, Selection, Genetic modification of plants and animal cloning. A Biotechnologist studies the attributes of living organisms to develop new products, processes, and technologies to address some of the biggest healthcare problems facing society. They are often responsible for creating, conducting, and monitoring experiments that aim to develop products and treatments designed to improve human quality of life.

Agriculture and animal and human health protection (in the fields of: biological protection of animals, plants, animal breeds, plant varieties created using biotechnology methods, technology of genetic and molecular indication and identification of animals and plants, transgenic and cloned animals; veterinary immunobiotechnology and pharmaceuticals, including in terms of the development, research and production of medicines, new generation vaccines, polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies, bacteriophages, antibiotics, hormones, enzymes, including the development of diagnostics, the development of banks of strains of microorganisms, biological samples, infrastructural support for research on biological models and target animals; biotechnology soils and biofertilizers, feed protein and premixes for animal husbandry, beekeeping, fish farming; processing of agricultural waste, biological components of feed and premixes; deep processing of grain and other agricultural crops); 3. Fish farming and fisheries (in the areas of: creation of a network of aquatic biological centers; deep processing of commercial aquatic organisms and fish products; creation of specialized feeds for aquaculture); 4.
